Asus P3v4x and a Delta Fan......

i heard about what a power hog the delta is. will my mobo handle the fan? or would i need the 3 to 4 pin connector? apparently the delta sucks too much electricity that it blows out the power headers on some mobos. the mobo simply cannot give out htat much power. anyone have this kinda setup?

hmmm so far i have an alpha pal35t with delta fan on my asus cusl2 run for 2 month already and i dont have any problem, good question biggien, i want to know too, i hear some people burn their mobo because of delta fan, any one??
