well I was looking at upgrading the CPU and saw that it supports up to a PIII 600, then I looked at the new BIOS and it stated that it would accept up to a 850 Mhz. if this is true does anyone know the correct DIP switch settings or where I can find them ??? is this true with the new BIOS, can I run the board with a PIII 850 ??? thanks to all who reply.

The P3B-F will support any Intel processor, including the P3-1GHz. Multiplier is not an issue since Intel processors are clock locked. The motherboard will take any 100MHz FSB processor, and unofficially supports 133MHz FSB processors as well. Although the PCI bus will be in spec at 133MHz as the board supports a 1/4 PCI divider, the AGP bus is will run out of spec at 89MHz. This is a limitation of the BX chipset for which there is no workaround.

The latest BIOSes are 1006 Final and 1007 Beta 001.
