I experienced the known issues with random system freezing when using Coppermine CPUs on the Asus P3B-F...I think it was most well-known as the "Photoshop bug," since I believe it happened quite predictably with Photoshop and Adobe documented the problem.

So I'm curious whether the same symptoms occur when using an Intel Tualatin CPU with a Tualatin-capable slotket on the P3B-F. Anyone successfully running this combination?

It actually occurs with Katamai CPUs also since I had that problem with my PIII 500 and still had it with my 1Ghz PIII Coppermine. It has to do with a undersized capacitor on the motherboard so changing the CPU out won't help this.

Here is the Adobe KB article detailing the problem.

I can't help you with your problem but let me say that the Asus P3B-F is the greatest motherboard that was ever made. It was flawless. :)
