I am running a P3B-F with 256mb RAM (2x128). With RAM so cheap I bought 2 more identical sticks of 128 to add in my 2 empty slots to bring it up to 512 (4x128). Are there any issues with having all 4 RAM slots filled on a P3B-F. I only ask because an issue does exist on the ASUS CUSL2-C with RAM installed in all 3 slots.

I don't think double sided RAM was an issue with the BX chipset like it is with the 815's. There is no problem filling all three slots on an 815 if they are all single sided, just when mixing souble and single sided RAM and filling all the slots does it go over spec.

The max Ram on a P3B-F is 1024 Mb. As most 256 Mb Dimms are double-sided, it'd be difficult to avoid using four of them! When the P3B-F was new, it's possible that it needed registered 256 Mb Dimms. Single-sided 256 Mb Dimms are now available. I've run my P3B-F with four identical 64 Mb single-sided SEC GA PC-133 CAS3 Dimms, no prob.
It has a mix of one Non-Registered 256 Mb PC-133 CAS2(double-sided)Crucial, one 128 Mb Samsung TC-75(double-sided)CAS3, and one 64 Mb SEC PC-133 CAS3(single-sided)on it now. Works fine at CAS2, at 133 Mhz FSB.

Note: Win9x can't use more than 512 Mb of Ram.

Thank you for the advice. I am running WIN2K so the 9x thing is not an issue for me.
