Hi, I'm hoping someone can offer some suggestions...
I have an old ASUS P2L97-DS, and I want to drop 2 Celeron 400mhz slot 1 processors in it.
But when I do, the screen won't light up or anything..
I can put 2 PII 233 Mhz in it and it works.
I can put 1 Celeron 400mhz in either of the two slots and it works. (I've tried this with both of the Celeron 400mhz's, so I know that it's not that one of the chips is dead... they both work.)
I upgraded to the latest bios.
I'm out of ideas.
Can anyone offer things for me to try?
