Looking at asus site, I notice that their latest bios states that this bios reports correct 667MHz CPU speed, is this the max on cpu speed for this board. It's a bx board why would it only support up to 667Mhz. Or can it run with a faster cpu? Thanks for any input

Faster CPUs are supported....all 100MHz FSB based Pentium IIIs are supported, 133MHz FSB P3s can also be used, but this involves clocking the AGP out of spec. Multipliers are not an issue with Intel processors.

They fixed the speed reporting for the 667MHz P3 because it was coming out as 666 :Q
