Asus P2B-LS experiences with setup?

found some very cheap asus p2b's w/wo lan and scsi locally and since the builtin controller is an u2w I think I'll pick one up to dip my toes in scsi. I have a scsi burner & reader right now and will look for a hd.

anyone use the asus mb and have any experience with it? good or bad?

planning on using my C2 on a slotkit at 100fsb for 900mz

I have a P2B-S (no lan). It's a nice board, the one thing to look out for is that the SCSI controller isn't the same as the Adaptec 2940U2W. The SCSI runs at whatever speed the slowest item (your CD-Rom probably), so an Ultra-wide drive won't run at full speed if you have them both hooked to the mobo. The Adaptec card seperates the ports, so as long as all of the Ultra 2 Wide devices are kept on one chain, and the SE devices are kept on another, they won't slow each other down.
