I recently attempted to flash to the latest BIOS namely BX2F113A. My motherboard is now dead, and I can't get any response from Asus. Aflash said the flash was successful, but upon reboot, nothing. Wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem and if there is a fix other than a new BIOS Chip?. Thanks for any responses or assistance you can give.

I've got both of my p2b-f running the 1.13a bios.
I did have some stupid grounding problems that were unrelated to the bios flash.

Do you have any friends with p2b-f's? Since I built my sis's machine and two friends machines with them, I could use them incase of problems.

Did you power off the machine? Does it do anything at all, no beeps, no nothing?

I flashed my P2B-F with the latest bios. Now my system won't do a reset/from the front of the case, or from within Windows. It just locks up. Everything else works fine though.

Yes, I have tried powering the board down. There is no video, beeps or anything else. Removed the battery, and reinstalled, only the CD-ROM drives keep recycling, but the board is absolutely dead.

The most disappointing thing about this whole ordeal, is the lack of response from Asus. It's been 3 days and not one word from them. If this is the way they treat their customers then we all better be leerie of buying their products. I'm thoroughly disgusted with them.

Thanks for your comments and help.
