Asus P2B-DS and Antec Truepower380?

Having a bit of a weird problem with an old rig that I've put together.
Basic components are nothing special, as the topic said, an old Asus P2B-DS motherboard, dual P2-450's, and a gig of memory, all sitting in a real pos rack chassis that nevertheless works(as in, doesn't fall apart).
Problem here being, it refuses to even power up in this configuration.

At most I'll see the PSU fan start to spinup for a few fractions of a second, then dead.
Try again and nothing at all will happen.

So, I tried the PSU in another computer, no problem.
Figuring maybe I blew the mobo at some point, I tried another PSU with the mobo, a 230W SPI, lo and behold, works as well.
So, I'm a bit confused, only combo that doesn't work is the Antec and Asus, however that's what I'd like to run, since the SPI is very old and extremely dusty, basically I don't trust it to run 24/7 for very long, whereas the Antec is brand new.

Any ideas anyone?
