Anyone know an expert on the ole Asus P2B-D?

I'm having heart failures trying to keep an NT4 server in one piece
while trying to set up a simple IDE tape backup.

The machine is running 4 raided hds on a promise ATA100 controller.
Can't get the tape drive to run on the on-board IDE.

For starters: should I be using the Asus IDE drivers or the NT IDE drivers?

IDE drivers?

This board is a regular 440BX chipset. ASUS does not offer any IDE drivers for this board.

I should have said "the Intel IDE drivers on the Asus CD"

This was the last 440 machine I've ever dealt with,
it was some years ago, and my memory is going flohooey.

Anyway, I need an Asus P2B-D expert.

Anybody????

Check asus.com for updated BIOS. They keep BIOS files oneven their old boards. Also check with Intel for the latest IDE drivers for NT.
