I have a Gainward Geforce 2 Ti, and the card is nothing but quality. Gainward has built up a terrific reputation among the gaming community. Their cards have huge overclocking potential, better quality 2d filters and tends to sell for less then the Asus. And they're red...so that in itself makes it a no-brainer...:p Unless you need some of the extra features that come with the Asus, get the Gainward.

Gainward's model definitely has better 2D visual quality, and it'll likely be a better overclocker then Asus's model.
But on the other hand the Asus has the temperature sensor, which is nice if you want that... plus the Asus Deluxe model which you specify offers TV Out in S-Video or Composite, and S-Video In.

If you want the features of the Asus model... it's the obvious choice.
If your really concerned about 2D then Gainward can offer that, and a possibility of better overclocking.

Not so obvious if you want to use all those "DeLuxe" features under Win XP...

My pick would be Gainward. My GF3 Ti500 clocks to 265/602 with stock cooling, and the 2D is really good.

I recently read an article on Tomshardware.com where they compared like 20 different titanium GeForces and the Asus was the top pick. However, the Gainward wasn't far behind, but why go with less than the best if price is similar?
