First off, as a new member I just want to say what a great message board this is. I've been reading through it for a few days now and mostly everyone seems very helpful and knowledgeable. :)

Now for my question...
This is a really hard desicion for me, Asus or Epox Nforce 2? I like the layout of the Asus board much better, but I also like the better overclocking abilities of the Epox.

For ram I was going to get the matched set of corsair (2) 256meg 3200's, but it's a little on the expensive side. For $150 (can) less I can get the equivelent in Samsung ram. Will it make that much of a difference? I was planning on running a FSB of 166 and run the ram in sync.

I would appreciate any input...thanks.

I'm an Epox man all the way, so I say get the Asus. :) J/K. I've been extremely happy with every Epox mobo that I have ever owned. The one thing about the Epox board, though, is that you have to buy a separate add-in card for digital audio playback (optical output only). They are $18 at the Epox site. Other than that, the 8RDA+ has got it all. :)

I have 2 x 256 Corsair PC3200 running on it flawlessly. I have no experience with Samsung ram, but ever since I bought my first stick of Corsair, I'd never use anything else.
