I am looking to buy a new graphic card, upgrade from Diamond V770 TNT2 Ultra or either the new Asus Gforce3 or the Elsa Gforce3. Looks like the Elsa out performs the Asus on benchmarks by a small margin. Generally Asus gets the pick due to additional software bundle. I am not that interested in the added software, looking for all out performance and stability.
If you have had any experience w/ either cards please let me know what you think. Thank you.

I have been using an Asus V8200 Pure for over a week now and I can tell you that I love it.
I am using it on WinXP and have not had a problem. My 3dMark 2001 scores at 1024*768 come out at 5139 with the newest 12.70 Detonator Drivers.
The new Detonator 4s coming out will also be optimising WinXP performance.
I can't say anything about the Elsa board but I do know all GeForce 3s have VERY similar performance. The way I decided on getting the Asus Accelerator is due to its availability and my itch to get it right away without having to wait. When I get an upgrade itch I want it right away ;)

Asus has a better software bundle and they also have termperature monitoring.
Elsa has better 2D visual quality, and a better warranty. They also so have more frequently updated drivers, but that's of little import as you'll likely use NVidia's reference drivers anyway.

I'd take the Elsa card just for the fact that it has much better 2D visual quality, the hardware monitoring on the Asus is a very handy feature though.

Rand`s right the Elsa is the best option,my friend has the Elsa GF3 and the 2d image is excellent on his Sony G400 monitor.
