asus nforce2 &radeon 9700??

does any one have this combo. the reason im asking is i have the asus nforce 2 mobo and am getting a 9700 for xmas. i have read many post about overclocking being hendered from the 9700. so what i need to know is will this card work well with a overclocked xp1600+@11x166 on a asus nforce2. if not im going either wait on nv30 or maybe the 9700 with a 2800
