I have just purchased an ASUS A7N8X Deluxe. I am new to sytem building and had an experienced friend assist me in the setup. When we got to setting up the bios we ran into a snag. It doesn't just ask you for the CPU speed but several other factors instead. It seemed everything we set it up for said we were overclocking the CPU. I am not interested in overclocking because I bought the retail version and have a very basic heatsink/fan. My processor is the AMD XP2200 1.8Ghz with 266FSB. The factors the Bios asks for are: the CPU external frequency (which I understandis equal to 1/2 the FSB) it gave me 3 possible values of 100 133 & 166. The second factor is "CPU Frequency multiple Setting" and the third is "CPU Frequency multiple." These two I am hoping someone will no what they are because the description in the manual would make this post twice as long. Please, please, please help.
