Everytime i try downloading a larger file using the onboard nvidia lanport the internet freezes, and wont function properly again unless i literally unplug the computers PSU from the walloutlet until the little greenlight on the mobo goes out.
If i just restart the computer without unplugging it from the outlet all sorts of strange problems like missing sound etc. ads to my missery, and the computer says it recovered from a serious problem???
The last Asus A8n sli-deluxe board i had couldnt even install the firewall cos it said there were files missing in the installation, the new board i got does not have the same problem with the installation, but the network port still wont work properly.
Has anyone had the same problem and found a solution to the nvidia lan ports strange behavior when downloading??
Is it a firewall setup issue, or is it some sort i IRQ problem, and what setup has the people that havent got this problem? Im using bios 1004.1 and nforce 6.39.......
Ive tried to disable everything for it to free up system ressources but the problem wont go away.
