I'm looking for a compact laptop that can handle large multiplayer battles in TF2/COD4-5/UT3/WAR/WOW/etc without major slow downs and I came across this laptop on Newegg: Asus N80vn-X1 (thanks to Inspector Jihad's link in another thread)
The specs seems to be a pretty well matched for gaming at native res: 1280x800 screen + 9650M GT + 2 GHz C2D, but I don't have any experience with ASUS laptops. (or laptop gaming for that matter)
Anyone see any reviews of this laptop or similar N80 variants? Notebookreview.com doesn't seem to have anything...
Also any suggestions on where to pick one of these up? I <3 Newegg but their no-return policy on laptops makes me a bit wary.
p.s. I know there are better 17" values (Gateway FX series) out there but I've already got a kick-ass desktop and I don't want to lug an giant 8lb monster with me on the road.
Update:
Found a personal review of a similar model on the notebookreviews.com forums

Key differences between the model reviewed the one I'm interested in are P8600 (2.5 GHz / 1066 FSB / 3MB L2) vs T5800 (2.0 GHz / 800 FSB / 2MB L2) and 320 GB vs 250 GB. The reviewed model has a LED backlight for the LCD, not sure about the X1. Price difference is $200-300.
