I was just getting ready to pull the trigger for the Asus monitor then I read the review here on the Sceptre monitor. Anyone have any thoughts on the Asus monitor. I am now very torn as which would be the better gaming monitor?

Most of the cheaper brands have terrible quality control and "Screw you" policies on Dead pixels.🙁

Put those two together amounts to a bad investment.

Go with bigger brands, dell , hp.. etc

TN panels have SHIT colors. In the end that is the most important issue, unless the monitor has severe input lag.

COLOR is not one of those vaporous claims where "not EVERYONE can notice.." YOU WILL NOTICE the difference in quality for sure.

Think about it..... The price reflects the reasons

Sceptre 27" - $300

Dell Ips 24" - $500

The difference is pretty clear.

ALSO depending on how close you'll sit to the 27" Tn panel, you'll run into color uniformity issues, where the sides will look different from the center.
