"an offensive marketing campaign"? How about "aggressive"?

EDIT: Changes in bold

Since the introduction of this section we've been working on our very first company's evaluation.
ASUSTeK Computer Inc a.k.a. Asus was our first target, as their current products seem to attract the most nowadays (it's a fact that Asus has the widest motherboard product range for Intel's Core 2 Duo/Quad series CPUs, and an aggressive marketing campaign).
Unfortunately their current products have a lot issues, major and minor, which need to be resolved sometime soon.
We also had some questions on two of Asus's products by that time, so we said "Let's evaluate Asus first".

So here we are today, presenting you the results of ASUSTeK Computer Inc evaluation.
But before going into the fixtures, and the pros 'n' cons, we should get into the details of this...amazing journey

Let's start with some motherboards & their issues...
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Don't get me wrong, I think it's a cool idea for a website. I like what you're doing, I just think you'll attract better numbers by appearing more credible. That's why I harped on the spelling and grammar, it counts ;) Good luck!

Been buying Asus boards since 1996, and their tech support has been consistent since that time, consistently bad.

I read this at the time of posting. If you want to be creditable, get credible by posting some reviews. Unfortunately, it takes money, moxy, connections and balls to establish a respected site.
I did like your style.

i have many of the same issues with my A8N32SLI. these problems with Asus multiphase power and CMOS hardware haven't been addressed in the 1 1/2 years since release. long ago, i concluded the asus forums were handled by bots 99% of the time.

the dark blue font on the black background is unreadable. the white background of the emails against the black page was painful :sun:. the grey text over black looks good, but too much krazy kolors makes it look like mirc.

you might want to take a look at Nvidia and Creative, very similar situation. at least Soundgraph makes some effort. the Creative forum is easily the most hostile i have ever read. for the record, it was hostile when i found it :p

There are several reviews in the making mate :)
Just had a trip [ a bad one actually ] which delayed the release of several articles & reviews.

There's a forthcoming reviews list on the main page, and you'll find more info in the "Sneak Peek" section @ BZ Forums.

Only some write-up is left for the reviews of:
Twintech GeForce 8800GTX
Asus P5W DH Deluxe
OCZ PC2-6400 SOE Urban Elite
GeIL PC2-9600 4-4-4-12 E.S.

As a new site, we're still having some stuff going on, and testing out software ( yes, we're looking for a graphing program, and we'll be changing the colour scheme of our text )

By letting these companies ( we will be evaluating more companies ) treat their customers like that, what do we get ? Nothing.
Personally I would like to know, that if my hardware need to be RMAed I will get it back soon, and if I need support I'll get something from their support system.

All companies should offer at least an average-joe support [ not asking that much, like Plextor's & OCZ's support ]

The more publicity this thing gets, the more attention the companies will be paying ( at least in the future ).

Results aren't guaranteed but, you can still try ( at least ) :)

Your right about OCZ having awesome support, these guys will come into the forums and offer you an RMA without you even having to ask. You also get to email a person directly and know who your dealing with instead of your email going into a big bulk queue that gets lost for weeks.
I've never had a problem with Plextor so I can't say how good their tech support is but their CDR/DVDR drives have always lasted me well beyond what I consider reasonable use.

You won't have any problems with Plextor, and that's for sure.
RMA needed ? You just fill in a form ( online ofcourse :D ), and...DHL arrives in 2 days with a new drive at your house.
The same courier guy might pick up your faulty drive, or not ( sometimes they don't ask for the faulty drive to be returned )

So true. My latest experience was with email support when I had a question about QVL for RAM. The response was so BS and never actually addressed my question. I emailed back asking why the response was like this and received a second similar response. It's sad..
