I have an ASUS A7M266-D Rev. 1.04 that refused to boot. It POSTs but will not boot. Anyways, ASUS gave me an RMA # so I can get it repaired which is really great. What I want to know is:

Will ASUS provide a report about what was wrong with the board? I'm very curious as I couldn't get it to work at all.
And if they can't diagnose and/or repair the problem will they send me an equivalent board in replacement?
And how long does it typically take to get a board back from ASUS RMA?

Thanks for any advice you can give.

1) No
2) Yes
3) A week to ship to them, 5-10 business days testing\processing, another week to ship back to you (UPS ground)

3. Meh, about what I expected but slower than I'd hoped for.

Thanks for the reply.

No problem, I feel your pain. They should be receiving my A7N8X Deluxe tomorrow.
