asus motherboard memory problem

i have a asus a7s333 athlon xp motherboard that wont detect my memory i have tried 2 different types and it wont post to bios and it beeps indicating no memory installed or detected i have cleared the cmos and still no luck any ideas? i know the memory i have installed is good memory help
