Bought 3 identical Asus monitors 27 inch for an eyefinity display.
Was using the center screen to play xbox tonight as I usually do and the screen froze up and starting changing all kinds of weird colors.
Now anytime I turn on the monitor for the first 10 seconds or so I start to get dots all over the screen, then it fades super brind and has millions of vertical lines running down it.
I have unplugged all cables and tried the other monitors cables to no effect. The screen was working with the HDMI cable from the reciever to the monitor, so that rules out it being a video card issue.
The other 2 monitors are just fine, but no clue what or what this has happened.
Any information would be appreciated. Bought this from Newegg probably slightly over a year ago and not at all happy with the lifetime of the items I have bought from them. Not sure if its a Newegg issue, or just everyone making craptacular items. So far I have had a faulty 7970, an Onkyo 806 that stopped working in 6 months, and now 1 of my 3 monitors have stopped working.
