CPU: Sempron 2400
HDD: WD 80 Gig
RAM: 256 DDR 400
Could someone please assist.
I have a A7N8x Mobo that i used to use with a 2400 Athlon (Barton). I have just changed it to a sempron 2400 and now cannot install XP. It hangs at the start of the install screen.
I can install and run 98SE - no problems.
I installed XP on this HDD on another computer, however when I put the HDD into this computer it hangs. I tried a different HDD (20Gig). Same problem. I can install 98SE, but it hangs for XP. Install XP on another computer - this one hangs.
The bios is flashed to 1010 for sempron from asus site.
What am i doing wrong?
