Asus mobo requires Samsung Rdram??

I just got a new Asus mobo with the Intel 850 chipset and it uses RDRAM.

The manual says that only Samsung memory chips should be used.

Is this a hard and fast rule or can I use chips from another manufacturer?

Probably the asus p4t533-c.... as if i im not mistaken the only other asus i850e mobo (the p4t533) isnt availible yet

There were posts either here or in the mohterboard forum saying they could use the kingston PC1066 as well. Use search.
