Asus MG248Q monitor, can't adjust low blue light filter and brightness together?

I just picked up this monitor and was excited to try the low blue light filter. It works alright, but I still find the monitor a bit bright. Unfortunately it seems when the blue light filter is on, the brightness setting is disabled/grayed out.

Is this usual for other monitors with low blue light filters?
