Asus Memo HD?

Anyone get this tablet yet? I have been waiting for the 32gb version of this. I can only the 16gb version. I wanna update from my slow Samsung Tab 2 7" but dont want to waste $$$.

It's going to be faster than your GTab 2 7.0 and is a fine tablet overall, but I don't know that you'd really get your money's worth with the MeMo Pad HD 7. If you can afford a new Nexus 7, that will definitely produce a more noticeable improvement.

i didnt even know a tablet like this existed from a well known manufacturer. i might just get this because it has gps and the microSD slot. thanks!

and i dont think 16g is an issue because it does have the microSD slot

Note it doesn't have any HDMI or MHL output, according to Engadget. It supports Miracast wireless display, but as far as I know real world application of Miracast is abysmal.

Keep in mind that it only has 11GB usable space. Using workarounds to install apps on the SD may also lead to slow performance. Expandable storage does have its downsides.

Personally I think the Nexus 7 is a MUCH better tablet at an already affordable price.

For the price the HD is more for me as it has an MSD slot and the nexus does not.
