Trying ot make up my mind between these boards

Could someone tell me what (if anything) lose by going with this

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131714

instead of this

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...&SID=u00000687

Cost isn't my primary concern, system is being used for multimedia, gaming, hopefully some Overclocking. I chose the first board because it offered x16x16 for duel SLI but on checking out the second it seems to offer that also. am I mistaken?

Any thoughts or suggestions would be very welcome

thanks!

First of all, i would stay away from P67. Too many issues still around. Z68 for sure.

Have 3 P67 now, various probs, QC not very good on these ASUS boards. Z68 seem to be significantly better.
If you are willing to pay that kind of money, and could wait a bit - about a month, you could get ASRock Z68 extreme 7 or Fatality Z68. ASRock is always late to the game.
Anyways thats the ones I am waiting for.

Then too, the X79 is on the way also.

Lt Frost - I'll add another vote to the "Stay far away from ASUS P8P67" voice. Ugh, not 1, but 2 mobos. Nothing but problems.

Gigabyte seems to be the best bet for P67.
