Asus Maximus V Formula 8pin and 4 pin CPU with HX 850

So I am wanting to plug in both the 8 pin and the 4 pin to my board via my power supply but I do not know how.

I have the 24 pin, the 8 pin and two of the pcie's that are not modular connected to my board and video card but I want to get this 4 pin attached somehow.

How do I do this? without returning the power supply and getting a new one?

Can the system boot at all, without the extra 4-pin connector?
The 4-pin socket may (?) work with an adapter cable connected to a flat 4-pin (IDE drive) power connector.
Side note: 850W seems excessive for your system. Even with dual video cards, 650W or 700W should be adequate for use with current generation PCIe 3.0 video cards.

So if i get a 4 pin ATX to molex that will work? And yes the system boots at stock. I havent tired to OC it yet though.

I plan on adding another gtx 670 in 3 months and a possible sound card for recording. Plus it was rated to be really quiet which was a major deciding factor.
