Asus Maximus lll Gene and Core i3?

I've read 2 reviews of this new board and both speak of the compatibililty of this board with both i5 and i7 processors but no mention of the i3s. I would assume that given the i3 is also LGA 1156 that it should function just fine in there, albeit with a BIOS update, maybe? My old Opteron 165 is still cranking along @ 2.7 GHz on air but it really is upgrade time finally, I think.
 
Yeah thats a P55 board and doesn't include the graphical hooks for the Core i3 processors, but will run the CPU just fine.

You need a H55? motherboard to be able to use the integrated video.
