ASUS Maximus IV eSATA doesn't work?

Hey everyone, I'm trying to hook up my hard drive with a Rosewill Enclosure to my computer with a SATA Drive, now the 2 eSATA slots on the back of my computer won't register the hard drive. I can't find it in the BIOs or Windows 7. The Hard Drive hasn't been formatted yet, and the eSATA Driver which I'm pretty sure is the JMicron is installed and up to date.

Anyone else come across this problem?

It should be, at least that's what the BIOs says. Also, I think Maximus IV's default mode is AHCI.

Bumping. I don't have any eSATA devices, so I can't confirm either way, but still interested in knowing how this turns out.

Have you tried Asus support forums? Might run into more M4E owners there.

I know I'm resurrecting the thread, but I registered to post this. I had the same problem as you.

Out-of-the box the Asus Maximus IV Extreme has eSATA disabled.
Until you "enable" eSATA in the BIOS, it just won't work!

I believe is is labeled JMB or something similar...
