hey all I was wondering if I could add another asus 760 single gpu card and have 3 way sli
please you thoughts
 
Yes, even though the third slot will run in 8x mode, it will be more than enough for a 3rd card. Whether you will see much of an improvement will depend on the drivers. What resolution are you running at?

The Mars 760 is a dual GPU card, isn't it? I'd say it depends on the mobo and whether it supports quad SLI. I am confused when the OP says Tri-SLI with that in consideration. Does that mean 3 mars cards? That clearly wouldn't work. Or two Mars cards? I dunno.

lol you hungover today? he clearly asked about adding a single 760 to his mars 760 so that would be tri sli.

The dual-ness of this Asus card isn't really an Nvidia design, though, AFAIK. If the OS treats it like two separate cards in device manager then maybe it gets around any lockouts Nvidia put in the drivers. I don't actually know how a 690, for instance, appears to the OS though, so maybe it isn't that different.
 
i have another pcie 16x slot on my mobo and i run a 1920 x1080 i could add another mars but money is an issue right now
 
no I meant to say that I have a mars card dual gpu but I was wondering if I could add another 760 single gpu would it work
