Asus mail in rebate help?

I'm not sure how the rebate thing works,can someone please explain to me in dummy terms how would i do the mail in rebate step by step?

Link is busted.

But you follow the directions that come with the rebate, to the T. You get the monitor first, then you go to the rebate website, fill out the form, print it, and then mail it to the exact address with the exact stuff they require (usually that form, the serial number barcode from the box, and a copy of the invoice).

You MUST follow the directions exactly. Almost everyone I know that has had rebate issues (and blames the company) has done them wrong. I've only ever had one not come out of the dozens I have sent in.

If these instructions are correct, the rebate's expired if the monitor hasn't been bought yet.
