ASUS M6N

Hi, I am planning to buy ASUS m6n (I think its nice.. )

The configuration stated by the ASUS site is,

Can any1 suggest/comment on this topic? I am pretty new to laptops though I am addicted to PCs (micros).

I am an avid gamer and also involved in development work.. so the normal config that I like is (for lappys),
* Intel/AMD {processor} - 1.7 to 2.0GHz
* 512MB/1GB RAM
* 40GB-80GB HDD
* ATI Raedon/nVidia GeForce Fx ___ (please suggest for any better card..)
{blah ... blah ... blah..} :disgust:

Can any 1 out there help me in making my decision? Plz help..

I'm running one right now. I can play HL2 on medium and high settings perfectly. The graphics card(ATI 9700) is able to be overclocked for even more performance with radlinker or ATITool. Use Omega ATI Drivers. You can now OC the Pentium M with ClockGen.Article Explaining
You can get a 2.0+ Ghz Dothan processor, over 1 gig ram, 60GB 7200rpm drive, or better in this thing. You can order from a reseller or build it yourself from a barebones. Also maxed out to excellent specs, the price should be under 2k. Go to www.notebookforums.com and look in the general section. There are LOTS and LOTS of posts and reviews of this laptop. Literally EVERYTHING you could ever want to know.
