Asus M5A97 UEFI problem

I just recently purchased the Asus M5A97 motherboard and it seems great, but there is one problem that is bugging me. My mouse will not work in the UEFI bios. I have tried putting it in a different USB port and that did not help. I am using the Steelseries Xai mouse recently purchased refurb from newegg and it works great, so I do not know what this could be. Is it a malfunctioning board or is it fixable. I have looked for this problem on Google and could not find this problem except on 1 person on the Newegg reviews of product. Any suggestions?
 
Weird my razer mouse has always worked in the UEFI bios. See if there is a setting you can change regarding the USB ports, other than that try another mouse.
 
problem solved. Neither of my mice work. But the Deathadder does work with UEFI Bios. Would you mind telling me which mouse you were working with? The two mice that didnt work for me were the Razer Lachesis and the Steelseries Xai.
