asus m4n68t-m v2 sound problems

HI! Guys. need some advise.My son just got installed this mobo and the problem is.there is sound from the front panel for headset.but nothing from the back panel for speakers. it's all up to date with the drivers ans bios.

windows vista ultimate 64
audio via chipset
gforce 9500 gt
1x 4 gb ddr3 1333 kingston
WD 500 caviar blue

OK Problem solved. he did not understand to go in the playback device to change it. KIds?

good to know its fixed, but it should automatically switch between the rear and front ports if you plug in the headset
