I have the m4a88t-m motherboard and I have noticed that there are 2 blue USB port on the back, now I know that the specs don't include USB3 like the m4a88t-m/USB3 motherboard, but I was wondering, could I do a BIOS update from the m4a88t-m/USB3 on my m4a88t-m motherboard?
Would this potentially activate the USB3 ports, or are there extra parts on the /USB3 variant that are absent on the m4a88t-m, because looking at the specs the motherboards are almost completely identical.
Also, if I were to do this experiment, could I flash the bios without putting my board in too much jeopardy?
