Asus M4A785TD-V EVO auto shut off after power on?

hello there,

thank you for reading.

I have recently purchase the following items for upgrading my pc

CPU: AMD Athlon II x4 620
M/B: ASUS M4A785TD-V EVO
RAM: Crucial DDR3 2GB CT25664BA1339

I was planning to use my old antec slk-1650 shell, with the Antec Smartpower 350 with it.

plugged in the 20pin power & the 4pin +12v, after i have try to power it on, it will automatically shut down after a few second. the CPU fan was running, and the M/B light was on.

however, if i pull out the 4pin +12v plug, it will keep running the fan and M/B light, but there does not have any beep or no post, and no display at all.

i am 100% the screen & the PSU is function properly, as i was using it only a few hours ago.

my question was would it be a faulty motherboard? or would it be my PSU does not have enough watts to support the power consumption?

thank you again for reading, and hopefully you could shed some light on this.
