asus m4a 78 em /1394 heating issues

i am using asus mobo m4a78em/1394 and its temperature on idle went up from 30 deg to 48 deg within 15 minutes always 4 degrees above cpu temperature and continues to increase till 62 deg on idle . iam using phenom 550 and powercolor hd 4870 gpu in old cabinet
now is it due to no fan on my cabinet iam relying on smps 120 mm intake exhaust hoping it will take out all heat.what could be the problem.
