Hey all,

I'm having an issue with running more than 2gb of memory on my system.

ASUS M3A32-MVP Deluxe (non wifi series)
AMD 9500 Phenom
ANTEC 850 true Power quattro PSU
G.SKILL F2-6400CL5D (installed memory is all the same)

Nothing is OC'd.
It has never worked.

I changed the settings in bios to ganged mode. Still nothing. All bios settings are default/auto.
The ram has been tested and is known to be good. I'm Rackin my head over here fellas!!! Any support would be appreciated.

If you need anymore info to help me out let me know!!!!

Much Appreciated,

AJC

At least i think i set the ram manually. 5-5-5-15. I've got 2 sticks of ram that work, but only as single channel. and ONLY two sticks at a time, i can't put 3 sticks or 4. and those same two sticks i tried putting in as dual channel and no dice

Try clearing the CMOS.

What BIOS version are you running?

I've cleared the CMOS Several times, and the most recent bios update has been done.

You still haven't answered the questions: How many sticks and what capacity are they?

According to your MB manual, G. Skill memory isn't on the Qualified Vendor List (according to Asus).

each stick of ram is 1gb, i'm currently running 2 sticks. part number G.SKILL F2-6400CL5D
so do you think if i got ram on the qualified vendor list it would work?

Yes, that is why it's Qualified. Make sure you get the exact RAM on the list, not just any RAM from that manufacturer.

I can pretty much guarantee that is not the reason. Especially considering asus m3a32 is on the rams qualified vendor list.

Is this what you're using?

Well, G.Skill says it works but Asus says it won't.
If so, why don't you contact G.Skill tech support seeing that they guarantee compatitibility?
