Asus M2NPV-VM Video Problem

Every time I go into the bios using the onboard DVI for video, the display goes into this weird pattern. The screen will flicker a few times with horizontal and vertical lines over the image, then a copy of the screen image will scroll up from the bottom over the original then back down. That happens about 3 times, then the screen goes black for about 10 seconds. The pattern repeats indefinitely. I haven't had a chance to check out whether or not the same thing happens using the VGA port. (I didn't have an analog monitor or adapater on hand.) Any ideas why this might be happening? It only seems to happen in the bios, but it's very annoying when trying to change settings.
