Asus M2N32 24-pin/20-pin Power

I just ordered an Asus M2N32-SLI. Here's a brief overview of the other stuff I bought:

AMD Athlon X2 4800+
2GB Corsair XMS
74GB Raptor
Nvidia 7900 GS
Sony DVD burner

I bought a power supply and case used from somone locally. He had been using it with an Asus board, and an Athlon 64 3000+, and a 6800 of some kind. The power supply is an Antec truepower 550W. I assumed this would be enough for my setup. I recently noticed that the power connector is only 20 pin, while the motherboard is 24. I have read that this will work, and I've also read that it can cause horrible problems. The motherboard also has a pin ATX12v plug for the CPU. MY graphics card also has a direct connection. Should I even consider running it in this setup or should I wait until I can get a new power supply? Thank you for any help you can provide.

Cliff notes:
550W antec truepower power supply with only a 20-pin ATX connector. Can I run it with a motherboard that requires a 24-pin connector?
