asus m2n-e -> the bios freezes

so my problem is that my bios freezes at any case any time when it wants...
if it is on default, or overlocked, the same happnes, i enter the bios than it freezes in 5-10 sec... this happened with the earlier one with the 602, no i'm useing 701 and the same happnes.... my motherboard causes it, can be any problem with it? i have 2.5 years warranty for my mb so i can take it back, but i can't understand how this could be happen...

I've got no problems with the 802 bios.
You could try setting you're memory to 667. Or, try putting you're ram voltage to 1.8v, 1.9v ad 1.95v. Try each one and see how it goes.

erm I tried everything. It happens occasionally. Some say heat problem other say ram issue. I say enough of this piece of crap change to Intel. Nv have such problem with Intel change to AMD/Nvidia cause cheaper.

Mine's fine. Don't know what you guys are talking about. I love this board, it's stable like hell, even when I was using the original 0103 BIOS.

Maybe this board is more hit-n-miss than others. :confused: I've seen many posts on this board and people either love it or hate it. I've had mine for about 2 months with no problem of any kind. I haven't pushed it far but I did get a mild OC out of it with a 5600 and 4 sticks (2x1g and 2x512) of cheap G-Skill RAM, 3 hard drives, 2 opticals and an OCZ 450W power supply. It's been 100% stable since the first boot.

When you say it freezes for 5-10 seconds, does it then continue to boot normally? How about the boot devices and boot order in the BIOS? Could it be looking first for something that isn't there, like a flash drive or other boot device?
