First off, I have no real "problems" as such, imo a problem is something that renders your PC or at least part of your PC inoperable, this is the best motherboard I've ever used before, bar perhaps the Gigabyte nForce 570 SLi.
My questions are more out of curiosity than problematic, except one:
1. From time to time, my graphics do not seem to initialize properly (and have done so but a few times since I got the board), leaving me with a blank screen and having to do a hard reboot if I want to access anything. Nothing serious, I simply press the reset switch and all's in order for even five hours of playing Most Wanted. I assume a discrete graphics card will remedy this? Could anyone tell me what exactly might be causing this?
2. I am using 2x 512MB Kingston HyperX DDR2-800 CL4 SLi-ready RAM, which I overclock every day. Great memory and all that (running at 5-5-5-16 latencies due to no motherboard settings) but I am simply wondering; the RAM will not allow my PC to boot if I set the divider to 1066MHz or 533MHz. 400MHz, 667MHz and 800MHz will boot fine though. Is this a disagreement between my board and RAM, or is it simply the 800MHz memory clashing with the required divider?
3. In my BIOS, I have a setting: +1.2VNBSB (maybe it's 1.2VSBNB lol) . Am I correct in assuming that this is the voltage setting for my north- and southbridge (SB southbridge and NB northbridge)?
4. ASUS state on their site that the board will take AM2+ CPUs. I am guessing that this means with a reduced HT? And not the full-fledged HT that a Phenom should use?
Thanks for anyone taking time to read this, I will appreciate any and all polite answers
