she's a beauty ain't she?! That's about it though, this thing just sits there and acts as a nice, useless, and expensive trophy. Can't get it to work properly if work at all. When I turn it on it's on component input and there is either a blue line that splits the screen, or the option to change the brightness or volume window open. Problem is... that's it... the buttons do not work! STupid touch sensitive buttons ruin the whole thing! They are unresponsive and when they are responsive, they lag by minutes. I tried pressing the buttons to get out of the menu and nothingI... Once the menu disappears I can't bring it back up, and when i does come up it won't leave the PIP tab.
other beefs...
the thing doesn't come with a user manual, just a quick start guide. Granted, it should be self explanitory, but when you need answers the manual should be the thing to provide some more clarity.
Also... ASUS tech support is HORRIBLE! It is actually nonexistent... I emailed them and have yet to get a response... I call the tech support and nobody in there in the LCD department to answer the phones, so I get forwarded to a machine. This has been goin on ever since labor day! I got the monitor last Friday, but went out of town for labor day weekend.
If anybody knows what I should/could do, please tell me. I've contacted ewiz about an RMA, but would rather have ASUS pay for the inconvenience.
