Asus Laptops?

My friend got the ASUS S... um.. S1000 or something like that. It's pretty good. No problems over the last 6 months. The only complaint is that the number keys along the top row is a little cramped.
 
Touchpads seem to wear out faster than the rest. Battery life is basically the same as they have advertised and have about the same battery degradation as other laptops we have had in the labs.
