Hello!
I am looking to buy a laptop with 14 inch or less screen size from ASUS (only. No other brands). However, I am confused between the U series models after going through a lot of reviews here and there. I had filtered out the following:
a. ASUS U46SV - Good configuration but heard that the build quality is not good?
b. ASUS U36S - Not powerful enough?
c. ASUS Zenbook - Performance not enough for games!, Expensive.
Can you people help me find out the right one? I need a powerful system which needs the following:
a. Lightweight (Max weight I can go with is 2.5 kgs with 8 cell battery)
b. Good build quality (I am using Thinkpad R61 right now and it has an awesome build quality)
c. Screen size - 13-14 inches.
d. Powerful enough to play games (casually)
e. Long battery life (8 cell seems to be the norm with ASUS U series.)
f. Optical drive is not a compulsion.
g. Even SSD or hybrid disks would do.
