ASUS L1N64-SLI WS case

hi there i am purchasing this motherboard though i am told these don't fit a lot of common cases, has anyone else out there got this motherboard if so what case are you using or what case would you suggest for best fit ad cooling thanks

Any case that can handle EATX mobos can handle that. The chenbro workstation cases SR10568/69 from http://www.eWiz.com are some of the most compact and least expensive cases that can handle that size mobo. The Silverstone SST-TJ05/06/07/09 and the XClio Windtunnel are others. The case configurator will find you most of the cases they sell that can handle EATX (as they are pretty sloppy in standardizing their product descriptions. I like the Thermaltake Eureka too but the metal is a bit flimsy compared to those mentioned above. And the CoolerMaster Stackers are always an option. Check out the iStar Nitro 10000 series too. I guess the Egg's configurator falls short again as I know there are lots more that can handle EATX than 9 or 10 cases. They carry all the ones I mentioned except the Chenbro.
. There are not many that will have that board yet so you'll have to get out there and catch some arrows re. cases etc. if you intend to buy it this early.

And I just found another interesting EATX case called the Uber Chakra. See the thread I just posted here for links. IDK whether the Egg has it yet. The Egg forgot to list the supported mobo sizes in the specs - see what I said about the sloppy descriptions? You have to search on EATX, Extented ATX and Extend ATX (product of all the pac rim, etc. types that work there) to find most of the EATX cases due to the same problem. Even with trying all those searches some will probably slip by.

At least they finally got the Chakra in the model name added. Til now you couldn't search on Chakra and find the enermax cases. Looks like the got the Uber Chakra in there right a way.
