HELP!
I have a TBird 900 + ASUS KT133A, Soundblaster Live!, ELSA GeForce 2, Linksys 10/100 Ethernet card and had no problems with the USB ports (using a Microsoft USB mouse). I just bought and installed a HP ScanJet 2200c USB scanner and it's screwing up my USB ports. At times the scanner will be recognized, at other times the computer will not recognize the scanner. It's intermittent. Now I plugged my mouse in the regular mouseport and my scanner is the only USB device and it still is giving me this problem. I am running the latest BIOS for the motherboard. I have the additional 2 port USB card in as well for the motherboard. I tried various USB ports and still the same problem. Any ideas?
