Asus keyboard doesn't work except for power button

A few hours ago my keyboard acted weird by registwring keys I wasn't hitting. Restarted a few tkmes, removed the drivers and then it completely stopped working.

No keys work, I can't even disable the wireless adapter or hit caps lock.

I did shut down and the power button that's built into the keyboard didn't work initially but eventually did.

Any suggestions?

Is this a laptop keyboard, or a standard external keyboard?

If it is external, try plugging it into a different USB port, or try a different keyboard if you have one to see if it shows the same symptoms.

If it is a laptop keyboard, I'd check to make sure the ribbon cable connecting the keyboard to the motherboard is tight and doesn't have any cracked or broken wires. You may need to check the manufacturer's support site to find out exactly how to do this. Also, if it is a laptop, try an external keyboard to see if it functions properly or not.
