Hi, I have this board, and I am just only now thinking of OCing it. When I bought this board, I did not think of OCing..But now I seemed to have changed my mind.

Anyway, I am just wondering because I've heard that this Asus K8V board has no AGP/PCI lock which could be bad for OCing? What are the consquences of them having no AGP/PCI lock and how would that affect my overclockability

No PCI/AGP lock = PCI and AGP bus frequencies being OC'd as well when the CPU is OC'd which is bad for the components that utilize said bus.

Ok thanks, I should still be able to OC correct? Just not be able to squeeze too much out of it right?

Oh and another thing, my mobo runs sometimes at 46C is that too high?

You can still OC, it's just gonna be somewhat more difficult to OC in contrast to a motherboard with a PCI/AGP lock.

As for your temps let's just say your motherboard temps matches my CPU temps under moderate-full load (+/- 2 C).
